Sponsors for Hope Camp Kids

Hope Camp is a 3 day summer weekend for good kids who might be living in difficult circumstances, providing a camp of fun, safety, learning about God’s love and God’s purpose for their lives = providing Hope. To learn more, please call the ACBA Office and visit with the Director of Missions (325-673-8349).

Lend a Hand Ministry

LAH is a ministry connecting local ACBA churches with neighbors who need a helping hand for some needed project (minor repairs, cleanup, tree trimming, etc.), for which they have no resources, family, or church home to assist. To learn more about helping with projects, and serving neighbors in need of a helping hand, call the ACBA Office and speak with the Director of Missions (325-673-8349). There is a need for individuals/teams from churches to follow up with neighbors who have been assisted.

International Rescue Committee, Abilene

The IRC assists people impacted by humanitarian crises to survive, recover, and rebuild their lives. (from website: rescue.org, accessed 9/25/2022). People need local individuals to help them navigate in our culture.

“Our mission is to care for the sick by providing free temporary housing to those who are receiving medical treatment away from home in Abilene, TX.”

This Christian Ministry has participation from some churches of the ACBA, and provides opportunities for individuals and small group involvement.
